Since the 1994 Rwandan genocide, justice has been sought through a wide range of mechanisms: an international tribunal, foreign courts, the Rwandan national justice system, and a local justice mechanism known as gacaca. This interdisciplinary panel analyzes the nature of justice in post-genocide Rwanda, considering its effects on both the state and society, as well as the role of foreign aid donors.
