Jonathan Fine is a Research Fellow at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism and a lecturer at the Lauder School of Diplomacy and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary Centre (IDC), both in Herzylia, and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the academic advisor to the joint program between the IDC and the Maxwell School of Government at the University of Syracuse, USA. Dr. Fine’s major fields of interest are comparative religious political violence, ideologies of terrorist organizations and guerrilla movements, arms control & regional security in the Middle East, US & EU policies in the Middle East, and Israeli Studies, and he has published extensively on these subjects.
