Arne Ruckert est stagiaire postdoctoral au département d’études politiques et au Centre d’études en politiques internationales (CÉPI) de l’Université d’Ottawa. Il a écrit de nombreux articles scientifiques et chapitres de livres sur les politiques de développement de la Banque mondiale et du Fonds monétaire international qui sont parus dans Studies in Political Economy; la Revue canadienne d’études du développement;  Travail, capital et Société; la Review of International Political Economy, et dans différentes collections. Il a récemment codirigé une collection sur le post-néolibéralisme dans les Amériques (Palgrave, sous presse) et codirige actuellement une collection sur la Banque mondiale et la réduction de la pauvreté. Il a reçu la prestigieuse bourse du gouvernement du Canada en 2004 et en 2005, a remporté le concours pour étudiant(e)s diplômé(e)s de la Fédération canadienne des sciences humaines en 2006 et a reçu la bourse Robert W. et Jessie Cox de l’International Studies Association en 2008. Il mène actuellement des travaux de recherche postdoctoraux financés par le CRSH sur les cadres stratégiques de lutte contre la pauvreté (CSLP) au Nicaragua et au Honduras ainsi que sur le rôle des institutions financières internationales dans la gouvernance transnationale.
